GENERAL RULES
1.1. Competitors must be familiar with the rules and in the registration stage the contestant accepts the rules and thus waives the right to say that he or she were not to acquainted with the rules or to disregard them.
1.2. It is the responsibility of the contestants to take care of their own hydration and nutrition. The organizer will provide feed zones on the MTB and the running course.
1.3. Respecting the track - it is not permitted to take shortcuts and the competitor is obliged to remain on the track marked with pieces of tape, flags and arrows:
1.4. Helping athletes - No external help is allowed, except by the organization staff. Limited aid is allowed only by another competitor. This assistance is limited to providing tools, tyres or any item needed to repair the bike and does not call into question the continuation of the competition by the competitor that is helping. You are not permitted to change bicycles or to swap bicycles between competitors. Giving water and food between the contestants is allowed.
1.5. Exemplary Conduct – Behavior unbecoming a sportsperson and disrespectful behaviour, such as offensive languages and gesturing are not allowed. Such behavior includes shifting or disqualification.
1.6. Appeals - Appeals that are related to grievances with the actions of a judge, other athlete or competition conditions are allowed. It is possible to file an appeal against the disqualification of a competitor, and / or a penalty that shifted the contestant in the general classification. An appeal is made by an athlete personally if he is over 18 years of age or a club representative or guardian of an athlete if he or she is a minor.
1.7. The rules and behavior described above are designed to provide equal opportunities for all athletes to the same level of expression, safety and respect for other competitors. Punishing athletes who intend to use improper or behavior unbecoming a sportsperson aims to educate them about the respect for other contestants and rules and the sport’s atmosphere. The imposed penalty will be proportionate to the severity of the offense committed and may also lead to disqualification from racing and / or loss of prize.
1.8. Audio-music equipment - No sound / music player is allowed during the competition. For example: headphones, recorders, mp3 and 2 way radios can not be used. Usage will result in a warning the first time and then in a penalty the next time.
1.9. Time Limit - The time limit will be applied in the T2 - the transition between bike and running. All athletes must enter the T2 transition within 3 hours and 30 minutes from the start of the race. If there are more group starts, time will be measured according to each of the respective group. However, the organizer has the right to change the race time limit, communicating to the contestants prior to doing so.
1.10. An athlete who has withdrawn from the competition must remove
his or her race bib and inform the organizer and / or the referee about the withdrawal.
THE SWIM
2.1. Use of suits is permitted depending on the temperature of the water, which will be measured on the day before the competition and confirmed on the day of the race by the organizers and / or judges present at the race.
A) The suit shouldn’t be thicker than 5 mm and must be worn in its entierty.
B) Swimming cap - All participants must wear swim caps for safety reasons.
C) Buoys - Competitors who take shortcuts of the route in relation to the buoys will be disqualified
MOUNTAIN BIKE
3.1. Only 26 ", 27.5", 29 "wheels are allowed for the race. Cyclocross bikes are not allowed. Aerodynamic bars are not permitted. Curved steering wheels are not permitted.
3.2. Helmet - The protective helmet must be approved and properly worn during the whole bicycle ride. Both feet must be on the ground before the contestant takes of the helmet. Participation will be disqualified if the helmet is damaged or unsafe. Refusing to wear a helmet means disqualification. Identical bicycle - competitors must complete mountain bike section with which the same bike the started it. Before the race continues, it is necessary to return the bicycle to the transition area.
3.3. Overtaking: Slower competitors must give way to faster competitors. Competitors should signal to slower drivers using the voice command "track" or "on the left" when they will overtake them. It is the responsibility of a faster driver to do the overtaking in a safe manner. The slower the driver must give way to the faster by competitor at the first command.
In case two competitors are fighting for the same position, the leading competitor needn’t give way to the competitor behind him or her. However, the driver must not block the competitor behind him or her using his or her body or interfere with the progress of another driver by any other means.
3.4. Drafting - Drafting is allowed.
3.5. Number - Starting number must be fixed to the mountain bike’s steering wheel and facing forward. It is not allowed to damage and / or change the start number with sponsor stickers.
If the starting number on the mountain bike’s steering wheel is not correctly set, first a warning will be given; the second offense will be penalized with 2 minutes. In case of loss of numbers a 2min penaltie will be given.

TRAIL RUNNING
4.1. The starting number must be worn on the front of the body. It is not allowed to change the starting number with sponsor stickers. If the number is not on the front of the body or if it is not set correctly, first a warning will be given; at the second offense the competitor will be penalized by a 10 minutes penalty.
4.2. In case of loss of starting number the competitor will be penalized by a 10 minutes penalty.
TRANSITION
5.1. The competitors are not allowed to ride their bikes before leaving the transition zone. They must get off the bikes before entering the transition zone. Driving in the transition zone will be penalized by a 10 minute penalty.
5.2. Helmet - The helmet must be worn properly and fastened before leaving the transition zone and the helmet must be attached when returning to the transition zone. The helmet needs to be worn correctly. Removing the helmet before the transition zone will result in a 10-minute penalty.
5.3. Athletes or persons delegated by the athletes must present a starting number to the staff of the transition zone to pick up bicycles and any equipment used during the race.
5.4. Bikes need to be returned in the same position on the bicycle rack as they were found. Bicycles must be securely mounted on the bicycle rack. The bicycle must not be left on the ground.

6.1. Each contestant gives permission to the organizer to use his or her photos, voice and results in any way, shape or form anywhere in the world for an unlimited time.
